The Rockhampton Saloon Car Club commenced in 1969.
The Club is run by local volunteers who have dedicated their lives to motorsport.
Capturing the Club’s history is important to preserving the memories of generations of racers and volunteers.
This page on our website will be updated over time to try and capture over 50 years of history.
Life membership is an honour bestowed on individual Club members whose exceptional, loyal, and outstanding service and contribution has provided a measurable benefit to our Club.
The Hall of Fame was something introduced to the Club in 2017.

Another gentleman who is a pioneer at many tracks around us in the early years.
A man who is no longer here with us yet has been watching carefully over his family as they continue the Smithwick’s domination in local speedway.
